Every piece carries a byline. Tools may assist the process; they do not replace the point of view.

There has never been more content.
There has rarely been less authorship.
That distinction is what this journal is about.
The telos journal exists for conversations that require more than content. We publish essays, interviews, field notes, visual stories, and data-driven pieces for people making consequential decisions inside complex systems: travel, hospitality, technology, culture, commerce, and the human infrastructure that connects them.
We are living through a moment when any platform can publish, any tool can generate, and any brand can claim a point of view. The volume is extraordinary. The judgment is harder to find. And the difference between the two has never been more consequential.
I know what it means to build a publication inside a brand and still insist it be worth reading. To protect the reader from being managed, over-sold, or underestimated. That work is rarely visible. It is the only work that makes publishing matter.
The telos journal is built from that belief. Every piece carries a byline. Every argument is made, not implied. Technology may assist the process; it does not replace the point of view. The direction, interpretation, and final judgment belong to the author.
We are here for evocative conversations and uncomfortable questions. The elephants in the room. We report what we see, name what we think it means, and sign our names to it.
Enjoy,
